Advantages of Workshops, Classes, and Groups
Feeling a Sense of Shared Experience
When people come together in a space where they can let themselves be seen, a sense of shared experience naturally emerges.
In our daily lives, we often compare ourselves to others. When you’re going through a rough patch, it’s easy to feel inferior or to struggle. In truth, life is full of challenges and most of us deal with unnecessarily negative minds.
Through shared experience in workshops, classes and groups, we start to realize that, though our problems vary in intensity and name, we are all alike.
We are all worthy individuals, who are also dealing with the “shadow-side” of our personalities, those negative characteristics (such as rage, greed, selfishness, and hunger for power) that we often don’t even realize are present.
This understanding helps to reduce the special loneliness our egos depend on, which often makes us feel like we are separate and isolated from the rest of the world.
Offering New Perspectives, Skills, Wisdom, and Healing
Another powerful factor of the group experience has to do with the uniqueness we have to offer. Each of us has been shaped by life in specific ways, endowing us with different points of view, skills, and personality traits.
As a result, each group member has their special magic to offer. Together, these elements form to create a very special channel for healing.
Honoring Our Wisdom, Facilitating Healing in Ourselves and Others
Facilitated group experiences help us realize how important we are and teach us to honor our wisdom and energy. They also teach us the power of compassion.
